This fall, the sermon series will be based on the book of Acts.
Each Sunday we gather for worship in light of Jesus’ resurrection on the first day of the week.
Our worship services follow the traditional four-fold structure of Christian worship that includes gathering, word, table, and sending. We gather together before the Lord with a biblical call to worship, sing His praises, receive His greeting, confess our sins, and receive His gospel assurance. We hear His word through the reading of Scripture, followed by a Christ-centered sermon based on the text. We then respond to God’s word by gathering together before Him at the table to celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Finally, we are sent from our gathered worship into the world to serve in His name and for His glory.
In this, our worship together renews the covenant with God that we share in Christ, empowered by the Spirit.
Over the course of the year, our worship services also follow the life of Christ captured in the historic church calendar. We’ve found that celebrating the seasons spanning from Advent through Easter to Christ the King helps us better keep time in Christ, the Alpha and the Omega, Beginning and the End.
